Durham Local Immigration Partnership Community and Inclusion Plan 2025-2030
The Regional Municipality of Durham Diversity and Immigration Program and the Durham Local Immigration Partnership (DLIP) Council is pleased to present the 2025-2030 Durham Local Immigration Partnership Community and Inclusion Plan.
Durham has long been a welcoming home for immigrants, with 28% of its population born outside Canada. To meet the evolving needs of the community, this Plan focuses on three key areas: championing collective action in immigration and settlement, fostering inclusive communities, and embracing innovation in a rapidly changing sector. Led by the Regional Municipality of Durham and the DLIP Secretariat, the Plan will be implemented, measured, and evaluated in collaboration with newcomers, community partners, local municipalities, and service providers.
