Durham Region Transit

Durham Region Transit busThe Durham Region Transit (DRT) system serves all communities in Durham Region.  The 2,590 sq km area is divided into eight municipal service sectors (Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, Oshawa, Clarington, Uxbridge, Brock and Scugog). Accessible door-to-door transit for persons with disabilities is provided by Specialized Service.

DRT PULSE service on HWY 2 between Downtown Oshawa and the University of Toronto campus in Scarborough provides a high frequency and affordable transit option across Durham Region with connection to the TTC.

Accessible Durham Region Transit busDurham Region Transit integrates GO Bus services as part of the Durham Region Transit system. Customers traveling within Durham Region can use a DRT fare on GO Bus routes 71, 81, 88, 90/91 (within Durham Region) without additional cost.

GO Transit

GO Transit operates GO Bus service and GO Train service linking Toronto and the surrounding regions of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Four GO Train Stations are located in Durham Region at Ajax, Pickering, Whitby and Oshawa.  Durham Region residents use GO Train service to visit Toronto or commute to work in Toronto .
