Northwood is a Non-Profit Sanctuary Dedicated to providing a clean, safe and loving environment to over 100 exotic animal species. Including Tigers, Lions, Primates, Bears, Wolves, Buffalo, Eagles, Owls and other wonderful creatures.
Northwood is fully licensed by the Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources. Northwood also provides Educational tours for Public Schools, Senior Citizen Groups and Special Needs Groups, to name a few. With Education being one of our main goals, we pride ourselves in sharing our experience and knowledge not only with the general public, but also with students involved in Work / Education Placements through the Oshawa business school and Durham College as well as Secondary School Co-op Placements.
